The thrill of the Mumbai Indians-Kings XI Punjab Super Overmatch in the IPL is not over. Indian pacers Jaspreet Bumra and Mohammad Shami shone in a match that saw two super overs. Both were armed with targeted yorkers. Former India captain Ajay Jadeja observes that Shami threw better yorkers than Bumrah in the Super Over.

In the first super over, Bumrah reduced Punjab’s score to 5/2 with the wickets of Nicholas Puran and KL Rahul. With Mumbai’s Rohit Sharma and Quinton Deco at the crease, some doubted whether Shamim would be able to defend the score. But overcoming the pressure, Shami was shocked by the smashing yorkers.
Shami’s overscored the equalizer as the match entered Super Over 2.0 and Punjab won the toss and elected to bat. Earlier, both the teams were tied with 176 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
