Pocket dynamo Ishan Kishan tastes fourth consecutive defeat to Delhi

Ishant Kishan’s 72 off 47 balls helped Mumbai Indians win the toss and elected to bat. The Delhi Capitals, who were at the top of the points table at one point in the IPL, look set to go out of tune at the end of their IPL tour. The team fell to its fourth consecutive defeat in the final round of the tournament.

Mumbai Indians were bowled out for 111 in 14.2 overs for the loss of one wicket. Unfortunately for Quinton de Kok, he and Ishant Kishan put on 68 for the first wicket. De Kok scored 26 runs. The wicket of the player was taken by Norkia.

Mumbai became the first franchise to complete 200 matches in the tournament. Mumbai reached the milestone in the 51st match of the tournament against Delhi Capitals.

Mumbai also holds the record for the fastest IPL team to complete 150 matches. Mumbai, who have been part of the IPL since the first season in 2008, are also the four-time champions. Mumbai have won the title four times. Playing in brilliant form this season, they dream of a second consecutive title in the UAE.
Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore are the second most capped team in the IPL. They have played 193 matches. Two-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders (191) are third. Delhi Capitals are fourth, one match behind. Kings XI Punjab (189), Chennai Super Kings (178), Rajasthan Royals (160) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (120) are in the next position.
Mumbai are the fastest team to complete 150 matches in the IPL, but MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings completed the first 100 matches. However, Royal Challengers Bangalore holds the record for the fastest team to complete 50 matches.
