How to make a Face Mask

Everyone should wear a mask when they step out of home as protection against coronavirus. Whatever you do, please don’t go to a pharmacy to buy a mask.

EVERYONE NEEDS TWO MASKS, NOT ONE

• That’s because you need to wash masks. So, you wear a fresh one, and the other goes into the laundry
• Also, remember NO sharing. If you do, you pass on your germs, and you don’t want that
• So, if you are a family of 4, you will need 8 masks.

ANY CLEAN PIECE OF CLOTH WILL DO

• Any cloth available at home can be used to make a face mask. Only, make sure it is thoroughly cleaned and washed before you stitch it into a mask
• The mask should cover the mouth and nose completely and should be easy to tie around your ears
• If you have a sewing machine, then you can jazz it up a bit. But even if you don’t, relax: you can still make a simpler version
