Age Limit: 18-25 Years
Eligible Criteria
1 ) 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board
2) Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings and fire appliances and equipment | fire engines, trailer, pumps, foam branches.
3) Must be familiar with the use and maintenance of first-aid fire fighting appliances and Trailer Fire Pump.
4) Must know elementary principles of Fire Fighting methods employed in fighting different types of fire.
5) Must be conversant with foot and appliance Fire Service Drills and be able to perform the task allotted to the members of the fire crew.
6) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the physical fitness test as under :
(a) Height without shoes 165 cms, provided that a concession of 2.5 cms in height shall be allowed for members of the Scheduled Tribes.
(b) Chest (in-expanded): 81.5 cms
(c) Chest (on-expanded) 85 cms.
(d) Weight 50 kgs (minimum)
(e) Endurance Test
(f) Carrying a man (fireman lift of 65.5 kgs to a
distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds).
(g) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on
both feet (long jumps).
(h) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands
and feet.
2. Fire Engine Driver
No. of vacancies: 01
Salary: Rs. 21,700/-Per Month
Age Limit: 18-25 Years
1) 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board
2) Must have at least three years experience of driving heavy vehicles and be in possession of the valid driving license.
3) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the physical fitness test as under :
(A) Height without shoes 165 cms, provided that a
concession of 2.5 cms in height shall be allowed for
members of the Scheduled Tribes.
(B) Chest (in-expanded) 81.5 cms
(C) Chest (on-expanded) : 85 cms.
(D) Weight 50 kgs (minimum)
(E) Endurance Test
(F) Carrying a man (fireman lift of 65.5 kgs to a
distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds).
